To qualify under this category, you must demonstrate sustained national or international acclaim in your field.

 

Evidence can include:

 

  • Major awards or recognitions (e.g., Nobel Prize, Pulitzer Prize).

  • Membership in associations requiring outstanding achievements.

  • Published material about you in professional or major media.

  • Original contributions of major significance in your field.

  • Authorship of scholarly articles or books.

  • Leading roles in distinguished organizations.

Multinational Executives or Managers: 

This category is for individuals who have worked in an executive or managerial capacity for a multinational organization outside the U.S. for at least one year.

 

Evidence can include:

  • Proof of qualifying employment with a multinational company.

  • Detailed descriptions of your executive or managerial responsibilities

  • Documentation of the organizational structure and your role within it.

Outstanding Professors or Researchers:

 

This category is available for those with international recognition for academic achievements and at least three years of teaching or research experience. 

For this category of the EB-1, it would be less common to develop a business plan.
